ALICES Adventures & Tours was born from a family dream, a love for Sri Lanka, and a desire to share its beauty, culture and hospitality with travellers from around the world.
OUR BEGINNING
In 1993, Mr. Don Quintas Appuhamy stood by the Sri Lankan coastline with his three children — Milroy Appuhamy, Luxman Appuhamy and Dona Nirmala Kumari.
As they admired the beauty of the island, he shared a dream: one day, the family would create a place that welcomed visitors from around the world and introduced them to the warmth, culture and hospitality of Sri Lanka.
He encouraged his children to gain knowledge, experience and confidence, and one day carry that dream forward with pride.
THE JOURNEY FORWARD
Over the years, that original family vision began to take shape through international experience in hospitality and tourism.
Don Milroy Appuhamy built experience across the Middle East and Asia, including work with international hospitality brands such as Le Méridien Hotels in Dubai and Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts in the Maldives.
These experiences helped shape a deeper understanding of guest service, hospitality standards and what travellers truly value — not simply a destination, but meaningful experiences, peaceful surroundings and genuine care.
Driven by the family vision and this international hospitality experience, ALICES Adventures Tours – Sri Lanka was established in September 2026.
